With a new year comes new people and this year Astrid gets her fair share of encounters with new people. From the locker incident with Austin Taylor and sitting next to Alex Forbes in physics. Astrid finds herself confused with all her conflicting emotions. Austin and Astrid start an unlikely friendship and Astrid learns things about him that no one else knows. Austin is struggling with his own demons , are these demons scary enough to scare Astrid away , or do they lure her in deeper and deeper.
