Mature
When Brenna was eight, her mother was murdered in front of her. The barbaric men stole gold and riches from her home. Then, they burned her hut to the ground. She was left shivering in the cold mountains of Norway. She wandered aimlessly through the rough terrain. Fortunately, she was found by a group of Norsemen. Brenna is brought back to their village and raised by Asmund Asgeir. As she grows older, her divine beauty is undeniable. By the time she is sixteen, she is desired by many of the males in her village. Brenna does not show interest in any one of them. Asmund teaches her how to fight and defend herself. Before long she has earned the title of a shield maiden. By the time she is eighteen, Asmund sets her up to marry his nephew, Torsten Gounouf. Brenna seeks a challenge and demands that Torsten fight her for her heart and honor. If he wins, he may take her as his bride. If she wins, she chooses a husband for herself or no husband at all. The battle is not over before their village is attacked by one of their own. Now Brenna must fight for her heart and her life.

IMPORTANT: This manuscript is a rough draft - widely unedited. There may be grammar, spelling, and pacing issues. I've been working on this story since 2023 in my original manuscript and hope to one day publish the final, extended version. I could see him grinning out of the corner of my eye. He was enjoying this far too much. "Just do not ever scare me like that again, Jasper," I fussed. He winced as I moved the cloth across his ribs. "Or what?" he toyed. I stopped and glared at him, stammering, trying to think of something clever. "I-I'll... I don't know, but I'll think of something." Before I knew it, Jasper had his arm around my waist and pulled me into the tub with a splash. "Jasper," I gasped. In a world where humans and orcs have been at war for centuries, 22-year-old Lady Brenna of Blackwater Hold is sent to the Northern Orruk Horde - an unheard-of act. Her father, King Corvus, pledged her to the chief, Jasper Bloodborne, to save his own life. Were these orcs the beasts her father taught her to fear? She soon learns how wrong she was - and that her time in the Northern Orruk Mountains will change everything she thought she knew about loyalty, courage, and desire. ⚠️ Content Warning: This story contains sexual content, mentions of SA, miscarriage, abortion, violence, and gore. 49 parts Ongoing Mature

She was forged in shadow and silence, a secret the stars kept hidden far too long. Alruna of Asgard, goddess of secrets and magic, was once a whisper in the dark, a weapon in the wrong hands. Sent to Midgard to retrieve what never should have fallen, she carries more than blades and magic she carries the ghosts of a life stolen by cruelty. Loki Laufeyson knows the taste of chains and the burden of redemption. Bound, mistrusted, and exiled among those who call themselves heroes, he finds an unlikely reflection in the woman who steps out of the smoke and into the chaos. This is not the tale the history books will tell. This is the fire beneath the fall. A slow-burn enemies-to-lovers journey steeped in trauma, power, wit, and longing, one that bends the Marvel Cinematic Universe in new and unapologetically raw directions. ⚠️ Mature Content: This story contains themes of violence, emotional trauma, dark magic, and potential smut chapters.
