Jimena "Mena" Brathwaite, professional choreographer and renowned dancer capable of mastering any dance style if challenged, never imagined her life to be as chaotic as it was now. From juggling her final semester in college, experiencing setbacks with the construction on her studio she wasn't even sure would be open on time, to dealing with envious, child-like adults aiming for her head, there couldn't be enough hours in the day to deal with everything and be still mentally sane. Right? On top of that, attempting to be a supportive best friend to the entertaining R&B sensation, Chris Brown, despite him recently ending their almost three year relationship so abruptly, Jimena is left with a lot of conflicted emotions.
Forced to deal with pressure from current rape and assault accusations, baby mama drama he never seems to escape, and his current relationship insecurities, Chris is in a whirlwind of trouble and finds himself relying on none other than Jimena for advice and as a listening ear.
Equally being in their primes, Jimena and Chris are doing their best to coexist in the same messy entertainment business and move forth as best friends even when some wounds are yet to being healed and sealed shut. Is it possible to do so though without mustering up old feelings for one another?
