Out of Order

“Aren't you supposed to say ‘I love you’ then ‘I do’?” My eyes were locked on his, our faces only centimetres apart, so close that I could feel his breath fanning my face. As he closed the gap between us, my eyes flickered down to his lips.

“It doesn’t matter if we do things out of order, as long as the result will be the same.”
