This is from my old account but I changed a few things. Katie's family has a secret that has been forgotten and her parents Elizabeth and Henry want to keep it that way. It wasn't until Katie meet new friends and kept on having a weird dream. Katie's friends and her where looking in the attic and found a pendant with a slightly clear crystal heart. But the pendant isn't what is seems and Katie's friends and her will learn in the most spooky way, that will test their friendship and bravery.

I quickly grabbed my keys and left the apartment to head towards my car. It was already dark outside, but it wasn't cold, I didn't need a jacket. I got in my car, and put the key in the ignition, when I looked in the rear view mirror and saw a pair of brown eyes. My eyes went wide, but I couldn't even blink before he laced his fingers around my throat from behind. A scream wanted to leave my lips, but he put his other hand over my mouth to muffle it. His lips ghosted over my ear as he whispered: "I wouldn't do that if I were you, Lucy." She doesn't get anything I'm saying. Its almost like I'm talking to a stranger. The thought shook Nicholas to his core because he's telling the truth. Katherine didn't believe him.
