Carissa Belfiore's mission was simple; hunt down the man terrorising her city and burn his syndicate's web of deceptions to the ground. The catch though? She must work together with the devil in disguise. 𐀔𐀔𐀔 Four months after the trail went dark, Cara and her team gain a second chance at retribution, at tracking down the man responsible for the mysterious chain of disappearances plaguing the streets of her town. Retribution, though, comes at a cost. Missing people and stolen identities unsolved, Cara's boss presents to her with a new ultimatum. She must pursue this mission with Asrea's top (infuriating) agent or lose the rights to the case. With no other choice, Cara must learn to thread the thin line of peace with the devil disguised as a federal agent, one who has little belief in patience and even less so for mistakes. Much like everything else though, it was easier said than done. As the two of them begin to dismantle the empire brick by brick, Cara finds herself pulling at loose strings tying the pieces of the missing puzzles connecting her past to her present. Strings, she soon realises, had been buried by the hands of someone desperately trying to keep her from finding out the truth. A truth that might just break her. No retrogrades, no reversals, and no unknowing the known. If only she could've done it alone, for even the devil must be paid his dues. The devil whose icy, blue eyes never fail to see through every shield and every shadow she'd built around her heart, the very shadows that seem to calm within his presence. The man whose icy rage threatens to thaw her blazing heart. 𐀔𐀔𐀔 First Draft Completed on 12/1/2025 Completed on 12/3/2025

**THIS BOOK HAS BEEN PUBLISHED. THIS IS JUST A SAMPLE.** Nova: It was only supposed to be a one-night stand. Now I can't get him out of my head. Liam Stewart is everything I've ever wanted. He's kind, sweet, caring. One of the best men I've ever met. My past is tragically dark, though, and that's the whole problem. Grief is a shadow that's clung to me for five years, leaving me in a cloud of distrust, covering me in fear. Like a knife in my heart, they bleed me dry, preventing me from loving again. But Liam's a fighter - in and out of the ring. He caught me by surprise. With nothing short of a major blow to my heart, he swooped right in and changed everything I've known. I want to let him in, let him love me, let him fight for me. I want to fight for him. Will I get hurt again? Or will it be worth the hit? Liam: Nova Black is a total knockout-one I didn't see coming. She's beautiful, bold and strong, and that's a deadly combination. If only she'd realize it. My trust is hard to come by. Too many people have ulterior motives, but not her. The more time we spend together, my guard comes down. But hers only seems to go up. I want to be the person she needs, if she'll let me. Our chance encounter wasn't by chance at all, we're meant for each other-flaws, fears and all. She wants to run. But I always fight for what I want, and that's her. Can I convince her that this is worth fighting for? Worth Fighting For is a complete standalone. Alana Riviere grew up fast, and not by choice. Born to teen parents who somehow made it work, she spent her early years in the buzz of New York City, surrounded by ambition, love, and a little bit of chaos. Her mom was a whirlwind of creativity; her dad, the steady rock. Life felt golden-until it didn't. At 14, she lost her older brother, the one who always had her back. Two years later, her younger brother-sweet, shy, and only nine-tried to take his own life after relentless bullying. Then, just when Alana thought things couldn't get worse, her mom cheated, the family split apart, and everything she knew fell apart. Fast forward to 21, Alana's living in LA, modeling for top brands, sipping overpriced matcha, and decorating her apartment with vintage posters and candles she'll never light. She's finally out of a toxic relationship that nearly broke her, and she's found a friend group that feels like the family she lost. Her mom is a stranger now, remarried with two stepdaughters back in New York. But her dad? He's still her favorite person, living in Cape Cod with his kind, considerate fiancée and her now 16-year-old brother, who's doing a lot better. Alana's got her independence, her career, and a hard-earned sense of peace. But when old wounds start to reopen and her friendships are tested, she begins to wonder: is she really as healed as she thinks? Can this new life actually stick? And somewhere in all of this-between heartbreak and healing-is there still a chance for real love?

Avery Johnson is a mediocre girl, living in a mediocre world. Or so she thinks. She's an only child and her parents are still happily married. Her best friends are Simone and Alexio. Alexio Ramones is the boy next door, but he's also the mysterious troublemaker at Harrison High. Their friendship has been kept between them since the day she was born. Sure, it was never an actual secret, they just never felt the need to tell anyone, and didn't talk in school since they belonged in different social groups. Love is inevitable. Drama is also inevitable seeing as they're teenagers trying to figure out why the hell you need to learn algebra in school because you'll never need it after graduation either way. Alexio is an ignorant and selfish bastard when it comes to everything except Avery. He's loved her for years and given her all the signs she should have needed to figure it out. Everything. Yet, the moment Adam joins their school, she starts dating him and Alexio is left feeling his heart shattering as the love of literally all his life finds happiness in someone else. In another man. He's selfless until suddenly he's not and the world falls apart. For once it's not the girl that gets her heart broken by the bad boy, rather the other way around.
