Dead Things rising: A walking Dead story

What if the Zombie apocalypse happened but people were more prepared and more 'realistic' than they appear in the movies? This story explores this question. Computer Science Major and electrical engineering mastermind Joseph a.k.a. Joey a.k.a. Jojo Stark has only one goal. Protect and save his family and friends. He's not bad at his job, or is he? Will his pride be his downfall? What is he willing to sacrifice in order to survive or even thrive in this new world. He may be smart but it can only take him so far.
