A Warhammer 40,000 8th edition Codex

'The fire that shall engulf the Imperium of man will not come from any distant star. It will be ignited in the ghettos and underhives and jungles of very worlds they have stolen.' 

This codex was created to give some fluff to the native inhabitants of the millions of worlds subjugated under the expansive rule of the vast Imperium. It focuses on the Fringe world of Iechyd, whose inhabitants resemble huminoid beasts similar to satyrs or beastmen but with a distinct blue pelt. However, the idea of the Draig Fach resistance is that it is a movement that threatens to spread to a thousand planets throughout the sector giving endless customizing possibilities. (i.e. an insectoid race rebelling against the Tau) 

To make the Codex 'legal' I have simply modelled my army on Catachan imperials with some low tech forgeworld support like quadgun batteries and manticore carriages instead of Tanks.

Incident at Facility IX by SimonRVW

A story set in the Warhammer 40k universe that I entered into the recent Black Library submissions window. A Planetary Defense Force squad led by a former Imperial Guard trooper are sent on a mission to a seemingly innocuous facility in the vast forests of their home world. Before long, the true nature of the situation at Facility IX becomes clear, and the squad are in a fight for their lives against a terrifying and insidious enemy. The work was not selected to be taken any further, so I am uploading it here in the hopes that someone will still be able to enjoy it. Please let me know what you think!

There is a space marine, pretty pequliar though, and there is a psyker (and bunch of other differernt characters), but it is hard to survive and win in my grim future.
