The day was valentines day. An exciting day for some because this was the day when couples, loved ones, and friends could give eachother cute heart decorated cards, sweets, and gifts! But for one boy in particular, Darrell rivers, this was going to be a year that he would never forget.
Darrell goes to Westbrook high, in his high school, the principal holds a special event for Valentine's day week called 'hello cupid!'. Now, the way this event works is very simple. All you have to do is call the number provided on the school recent events board. 1-800-hellocupid!. ( this number is for fictional book ONLY! does not actually work)
After the student has dialled the number, it will go to a girl picking up the phone and saying 'hey, cupid here! And what special match can I find for you today?' in return, the student can ask a question, ask for advice, or basically say anything they want!
Darrell has never really been attracted to boys. or....so he thinks. although his mind says he likes girls....his heart says something completely different.
unable to contain his feelings in his heart or diary, he turns to his last resort.....'hey, its cupid here! And what special match can I find for you today?'
