When greek mythology is talked about on a daily basis, you expect people to tell you their favourite myths, or favourite Gods and Heroes. You expect the conversation to be fluid and not too weird.

When greek mythology is talked about on a daily basis, you expect it to be a harmless chat, of togas and Zeus being a sex machine.

You, on the other hand, do not expect for the person you are talking to, to tell you they are a god running away from home because they did something awful.
