A Kingdom of Beasts
Called to uphold a fragile peace treaty between humans and their sworn enemies, the Lycan, Charlotte is left with no other choice but to marry their brutal, mortal-hating king. Arrogant and cruel, Griffin of Nyxis is everything she hoped she'd never wed. Yet behind the wicked facade, Charlotte catches glimpses of a king haunted by more than just war. A king ruled by savage, bloodthirsty demons, and inexplicably, soothed by one thing only--the human bride he never wanted. As tension between nations rise, Charlotte is forced to question everything she thought she knew of her husband, his people, and the treaty that binds them. Despite her sacrifice, an unrelenting war simmers beneath the surface. And if Charlotte doesn't do anything to stop it, the fallout may just devastate them all. With chaos on the horizon and a craving for a king that could bring her end, Charlotte must make an impossible choice: protect the people she calls her own, or embrace a love that could change both of their worlds forever...if it doesn't destroy her first. 18+
