48. That's the amount of people who had been murdered in the course of exactly four years in the small town of Red Lake. That's one person per month. A calculated series of deaths by a precise and accurate serial killer. So far, the police have no leads, and no breaks. The town lives in fear. Well, most of the town lives in fear. The high schoolers of RL high didn't. Not until one of their own is murdered. Now the school is in an uproar. A team of students have started riling everyone up, getting people to start looking for the killer. But it's no use. Now the killer is killing 10 a month, as if they're scared of being caught. How much longer until everyone is dead? And how much longer until the killer gets caught?

Crys Snow has never felt like he belonged in his small southern town of White Chapel. His family sucks, he barely has any friends, and the other kids at school are terrified of him. He wants to matter to someone; anyone who can under the violent darkness he keeps hidden deep inside. He never expected that someone to be a serial killer. Falling for him is a mistake, but maybe, for the first time in his miserable life, this is what it feels like to be wanted. But love shouldn't taste like blood. Should it?
