Many years have passed since my reincarnation but nothing has really changed since then even before I reincarnated everything has stayed the same. yea I got closer to some people and James came back but other than that the war between TuLa and the shadow realm continues. I sigh in content. I look out of my window into the dark oak and pine forest. 'I'll need to see him soon' i thought to myself. The king of the shadow realm also known as my brother the rural of all evil. I eventually go outside to find the shadow realm portal. I walk into a cave close to my house to find the purple glowing portal. I looked at the portal for a while and sighed in worry, and walked through the portal and made it to the shadow realm. I looked up to see his dark red and black castle. I walked along the path leading up to the castle and walked inside seeing his throne but he wasn't there which worried me.
"ah hello, there my dear sister," a voice said behind me and put a hand on my shoulder which made me flinch.

I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. As an avid- and fairly unsuccessful- writer of fantasy fiction, I know that dragons are pretty much the pinnacle of existence. I dare anyone to argue. So, when my mundane existence comes to an end and I am offered a choice of whatever race I liked upon reincarnating into a fantasy world, of course I chose dragon. The Kingdom of Ru'aun was rich and plentifully, if you were lucky enough to live in the inner city, Falcon Claw. Outside of those walls was where the poor stayed poor and poverty stayed brutally common. There were 11 closely built towns, but the 3 biggest were O'khasis, Scaleswind, and the Neapolitan villages. That was not where Aphmau was. She was born and raised in a small village far to the east called Phoenix Drop. She was thrown into guard training by her parents at the age of 12 to give her an opportunity in life. After 6 years of intense, tiring combat training and schooling, she'd been chosen to move to the castle as a guard. Of course, she wasn't expecting to be guarding the Crowned Prince of the Falcon Claw Castle. If she had the chance to go back to that day, she'd take that chance and run for the hills while she still could. 19 year old Prince Aaron, wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. He didn't want to be watched over, he didn't want to be guarded, he just wanted to be left alone for once in his life. With his luck, that was impossible. He never wanted the crown. He was intelligent enough to rule and he acknowledged that but he always wished he could just be free of his binding curse.
