Sparta was a land feared by many, other Greeks would not dare to seek fight with any Spartan alive. There were not many kingdoms that seek for wars unless they must, but there was one, one that was lead by a greedy, selfish and evil king. His son, it appeared, will be the next weapon he would use against other empires. A Prince who was loyal and his next mission was to recover a secret weapon in Athens. However as time spent in the foreign place, his dedication began to wobble and it made him question should he never stray from the path of loyalty or to follow his heart that rarely spoke to him?

However, time is working against them. Can he convince Kore to leave behind everything she knows to join him in the Underworld before Zeus discovers her secret? A retelling of Hades and Persephone- Note some of the characters do not follow the traditional myth but the story still occurs in the same time period.

This was a project for our AP and Filipino in which we made a short story about anything in Europe and we chose a story about Athens and Sparta (not all information is accurate). It's a story about two boys, one from Athens, the other from Sparta, that met each other one night and became friends ever since. But their friendship should not be. During the Peloponnesian Wars, they find themselves conflicted with their oaths to their country and to each other.

Death is a nagging parent that you try to outsmart time and time again but no matter how many times you may think you have outsmarted them, in the end they will have the last word. She hasn't seen any other person besides her homeschool teacher since she was a little girl after a mysterious incident happened at school one day that her mother refuses to talk to her about. She keeps her locked away on a farm and only lets her go out occasionally. It isn't until her cat dies and after picking him up, becomes alive again when she realizes why her mother has locked her away for all these years. She discovers she has the gift of healing. When she confronts her mother about it, her mother reveals to her that they are not human but in fact, Goddesses trapped inside human vessels to protect Kore from the Gods who want to marry her. But things only get worse when one day, as Kore is picking flowers in the meadow, there is an earthquake and she is taken up by this earthquake and falls into the arms of none other than Hades. A modern re-imagining of the story of Persephone.
