A young girl has been spotted in several marathons throughout the years. Her first sighting was when she was 9, as runner number 5. That's where the girl gets her name, Runner 5. For no one knows her name or anything about her other then her looks.
In reality her name is Sky, a now 18 year old girl who was orphaned at a young age. She's a speedster that prefers to take it slow and run marathons instead if running around the world like others of her talent. She's technically one of the fastest speedsters around but she doesn't flaunt it or really show her talent unless shes in private. She's mature for her age due to a past that haunts her.
She just a speedster trying to take it slow when something changes her life forever.

What a lot of people don't know is that I was actually in the lab with him. I watched as he tested the machines to make sure there were no accidents or causalities. Everything seemed to be fine, until it wasn't. The machine malfunctioned and the gamma rays went out of control. Not only did my dad get hit but so did I. The effects weren't exactly the same obviously but they did the same job of giving the victims unnatural abilities. On my run I started to think more about the accident as tears streamed down my face and my feet started to feel like they were on fire since my body wanted to just give out and sulk. My mother chose to leave me, my father tried to leave me. What is it about me that repels people? A young girl, at the age of 6 tried to run from Hydra, tried to escape their grasp. Her silver eyes, shinning in the darkness, always giving her out. No where for her to run, but everywhere she wished she could. To her, there is no such thing as hero's, for if there where, she surely would have been saved by now. 2 years later, she is 8, she doesn't talk, she is beaten, she's tested on, and yet, Hydra can't seem to get her to do their bidding. Her silver eyes, never dulled, just lost the brightness that once filled her heart. "Hero's", she says, " are just made up fantasies for kids, to fill their minds with imagination. If hero's where real, then I would be saved from here long time ago." she feels no emotion, so it seems. She feels no pain, as it appears. But really, she just learned, to hold it on the inside. One day, she was suddenly pulled from one of her torture sessions, some of the agents, throwing her into a random cell. 2 staying just outside, watching, waiting. Then, they yank her out by the arms, pulling one out of its socket, dragging her somewhere else. They never seemed to slow, and when she would drag her feet into the floor, trying to stop them, she would get hit. Then, they where both shot down, by some stranger in a suit, catching his shield. More Agents came Marching down the Hall, at a sprint toward them. The girl, being grabbed my one, and slung over the shoulder. As she was giving up hope, the man saved her, once again, and taking her to a place, that has people who all love her, and are all hero's. She still doesn't believe in hero's, she believes, that there is nice people in the world, who want to try and save it.
