A young girl has been spotted in several marathons throughout the years. Her first sighting was when she was 9, as runner number 5. That's where the girl gets her name, Runner 5. For no one knows her name or anything about her other then her looks.
In reality her name is Sky, a now 18 year old girl who was orphaned at a young age. She's a speedster that prefers to take it slow and run marathons instead if running around the world like others of her talent. She's technically one of the fastest speedsters around but she doesn't flaunt it or really show her talent unless shes in private. She's mature for her age due to a past that haunts her.
She just a speedster trying to take it slow when something changes her life forever.

A young girl, at the age of 6 tried to run from Hydra, tried to escape their grasp. Her silver eyes, shinning in the darkness, always giving her out. No where for her to run, but everywhere she wished she could. To her, there is no such thing as hero's, for if there where, she surely would have been saved by now. 2 years later, she is 8, she doesn't talk, she is beaten, she's tested on, and yet, Hydra can't seem to get her to do their bidding. Her silver eyes, never dulled, just lost the brightness that once filled her heart. "Hero's", she says, " are just made up fantasies for kids, to fill their minds with imagination. If hero's where real, then I would be saved from here long time ago." she feels no emotion, so it seems. She feels no pain, as it appears. But really, she just learned, to hold it on the inside. One day, she was suddenly pulled from one of her torture sessions, some of the agents, throwing her into a random cell. 2 staying just outside, watching, waiting. Then, they yank her out by the arms, pulling one out of its socket, dragging her somewhere else. They never seemed to slow, and when she would drag her feet into the floor, trying to stop them, she would get hit. Then, they where both shot down, by some stranger in a suit, catching his shield. More Agents came Marching down the Hall, at a sprint toward them. The girl, being grabbed my one, and slung over the shoulder. As she was giving up hope, the man saved her, once again, and taking her to a place, that has people who all love her, and are all hero's. She still doesn't believe in hero's, she believes, that there is nice people in the world, who want to try and save it. {Set before X Men, then skipping into X2) Sierra Storm was always an anomaly among her peers. She always wanted nothing more for herself, to just be normal. When she manifested her powers at the age of 12, she was so terrified to find out that she wasn't normal. Until one day, Charles Xavier tracked her down, to tell her or confirm to her rather, that she was in fact a mutant, a very, very powerful one at that. She was brought to the Xavier's School for the Gifted, and she was accepted and integrated into the school, despite her doubts and all of her misgivings about being a mutant and especially a powerful one like Charles said about her. She was not expecting to find two boys there, that had all complete oppositional mutations who also happened to be best friends. One had the mutant name Iceman or Bobby, while the other was Pyro, or John as he had been called since birth. They quickly gave her the nickname Element, after realizing that she had many useful abilities and they were all related to the elements. They also found out very quickly enough to their pleasure, after accidents around the school, that by combining their gifts of their specific elements to hers, that they could create something even more powerful then what they already had on their own. Sierra was not one to scare easily, especially not when it came to being snuck up on, but there is one thing that has always scared her, and that always will scare her.
