Lara Croft. Sarah Conner. Jill Valentine. Ball busting, ass kicking female heroes. But does a woman have to be a macho killer to be a hero? This is my tribute to Maria, hero of the classic silent movie, _Metropolis_. Brave and strong. Oh yeah, and TOTALLY girly girl.

Shadow of the Past (Captain America) // ✔️ //
Trying to forget that today was March 15 and trying to escape the long lecture from Rogers, Antonia locks herself in her lab to work on a new project; however, she never expects her unfinished device to misfire and send her back to the sexist 1940's. Now, completely alone with no resources whatsoever, Antonia finds herself struggling to survive on her own, especially when she discovers she's being followed. Unsure of who it is and what they want, she struggles to keep them at bay. To make matters worse, she finds herself on Colonel Phillips' radar. However the worst of it, she has to deal with her Egoist Father, who doesn't get the picture and won't leave her the hell alone. What would a woman to do? (Note: Antonia is basically genderswapped Tony Stark and younger - in her late twenties) (Also! I don't own the Avengers, just the plot and storyline are mine. Lastly this is a rough draft of the story so it isn't my finest writing. Just a piece of shitty work I had years ago and new chapters are up twice a week: Monday and Wednesday!)) Army Strong II- Through Hell & Back
I always knew i wasn't meant for the heels anyway. When I joined the army, I was young and foolish. I thought I would become invencible but my first experience in the field showed me just how naive I was. Abandoned by my own nation, with a team of 5 brave men, sent on a suicidal misson. In the middle of the nowhere, thirsty, starving, I realized the real essence of humanity. We conquered the desert, we completed the mission, they said. We were heroes, they said. However, most of us, dead heroes. I lost my whole team to the desert. The president, the media, never confirmed their deaths. They gave them as lost in the field when I myself saw them fall one by one. They gave them as lost in battle when we both know just how they died. My mistake? I opened my mouth. I was not gonna let them spread lies about my men, about my team! Mistaken airstrike? My ass! My men died because the people in the white house decided we weren't worthy of support. I threatened to expose the truth myself and when I did, they had no better way to shut me up than to send me back to war. However, if before who my enemies were was crystal clear, this time I wasn't so sure. I wasn't gonna let their deaths be in vain. I wasn't gonna let them sell the lie. The truth would come out, even if I had to go through hell and back. And I did...Complete

a mix of star wars, star trek, and marvel she's the only one of her gender in this all male military force, but that doesn't matter. because when her team is called on for an important mission, and gets thrown into a galaxy threatening situation, she's going to need her team's full support to show the enemy what girl power is all about. IMPORTANT NOTES #1 ENJOY THE STORY #2 there grammatical errors that are part of my style of writing #3 with #2 being said, this story works in that as long as you know whose in the room, it doesn't matter who says the lines #4 there are some lines that clearly reflect on the person who says them #5 constructive criticism is welcome and greatly appreciatedComplete
