Aquaman had been living life as a co-habiter for many years and enjoyed living life under the radar because of his special abilities. After the death of Superman he knew it wouldn't be long before he was approached by Bruce to join his little club. He also had the growing issue of his brother claiming the underwater throne and wanting to forge war on all land-dwellers. He had a plan on how to deal with all of that but he did not however, know how to deal with Lana.
