She was as gentle as the rain that fell on the bamboo leaves. Innocent as the summer scent that brushed against the ripening wheat. A princess in ancient china, she would follow myths and legends until she became one herself.

She was a rose who would become the gilded fire lily, the symbol of war and revenge. All of creation would know her name as she takes her ranks among the gods. Her hands would signal the rise and fall of nations and the fate of the gods themselves. From chess piece to grand master, Yu Zhu's journey will take her far and across all the realms until she claims her destiny.

Uvodell: The Lost Princess of Yggdrasil [Draft]

8 parts Ongoing Mature

Nobody knows with certainty what happened on the dawn of the princess's sixth birthday. One moment the peace bustled with excitement for the day's festivities, the other saw the kingdom devoured by azure flames. Some say it'd been a long time coming for the winged elves' vanity in trying to protect the gods from the spite of their creations, others blamed the young princess as a curse set loose upon a world that turned their backs on the divine. The flames died with a passing rain, and with it the gods' chosen people. A decade in passing, the wounds left by the flames scarred and tragedy turned to song. Whispers of war plague the fragile peace at the eve of the Lunnaelian Empress's daughter's birthday, a figure of eyes ringed with silver at their center. The daughter of a king since forgotten returns to unite the remnants of the feathered children and claim that which is owed her by birthright. The fates of the self proclaimed empress and the mysterious princess, bound by blood, lay waiting in the forest dark and deep with its promises of an eternal sleep.
