A comic idea I've had bouncing around in my head for a while-- Pirates and an assortment of mystical entities in the 1800s, roaming the atlantic sea, in a world of magic and some steampunk elements(even if the steampunk thing ain't that relevant and honestly is just an extra element) Follow the Marlins and their many adventures!
This will basically be a compilation of short stories, maybe some story arcs and stuff, but don't expect too much linear storytelling. Also in the storytelling department, I'll have one in one POV and another with switching ones, or another in a different POV and or writing style, fair warning. It's also gonna have an ass ton of characters, so buckle up kiddos.
P.S I couldn't really fit the entire picture on the cover so I just screenshot it. I still made the cover, just couldn't actually put the thing on. Professional as fuck, right?

Monster Beneath The Surface (Solangelo AU)
Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to! She spun until she could make out his form, black against gray sky. "What?" she sputtered. She dragged one arm from the water long enough to shove wet hair from her face. Jason became clearer: black hair dark above his yellow raincoat, arms crossed over his chest. "What the hell are you talking about?" "I asked how you like it, going for a swim in this water." She was open-mouthed with disbelief. It was a bad idea; a surge lifted her and slapped salt water into her mouth. Bile burned her throat as she coughed and all the while she was still flailing at the water, fighting the drag of shoes and clothes to keep afloat. She should kick them off-that's what you were supposed to do if you fell into the ocean with your clothes on-but she was only a dozen feet from the dock. Besides, it was her only coat. Jason watched her the way she'd watch a barracuda. "I know you're following me." "Following you?" What. The. Hell. She gave a mighty kick and tossed her coat onto the dock. Jason just stood there. Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. Coming into the human world was definitely not my idea but I had no choice. I am the mermaid princess of the North American seas. The most powerful water monster had taken both my tail and my powers. In order to restore them and defeat him, I needed to find and gather the remaining 6 mermaid princess from each continent. We needed our tails and powers back in order to save the ocean from him but there is one main problem. If we tell a human we are a mermaid we immediately die and turn into water so we can't just go around and ask everybody if they were mermaids. The only times when humans can know that we are mermaids is if they find out themselves that we are mermaids. The seven mermaid princess must find each other by mermaid clues and looks. Can they join together in time to defeat the most powerful demon or will they all perish? Twisted in this story is romance and well you will find out.Complete
