"Any siblings?" "One, died when I was 11" "Oh wow I'm sor-" He cuts himself off knowing I don't like that word. You mentioned that your parents died. If you don't me asking, what happened?" He continues, "It's alright. They died in a car crash along with my sister." "Any close friends?" "Have one or two but you know what happened" "Who do you have then?" Looking at the boy in front of me as fresh tears slowly run down my face, I take a deep breath as I choose my words wisely. "Honestly I have no one, and can never really trust anyone. Almost every single person I've ever loved has left my life one way or another breaking my heart." Looking directly at me with those piercing blue eyes he slowly moves towards me till were inches apart. "I'll never leave you Jamie because I don't ever plan on breaking your heart" He whispers back leaving me stunned. *STORY IN THE PROCESS OF BEING RE-WRITTEN*

standalone ~ mafia siblings series "You can't make me stay here! I will get an emancipation." I yell. Flashbacks of the gun in my hand, the almost-dead boy. I shudder. A sick feeling settles in my heart. "I forbid you from going anywhere else. It's safe here, with us," Alexander answers. He is practically fuming. "Clearly, it's not!" I stand from the leather chair, backing away to the mahogany door. Pure, hot rage bubbles inside of me. Never. I will never become one of them. He begins to rush to me, but I turn on my heel and sprint out, down the hallway, through the house, and to the brick fence surrounding the mansion. I go up to the black metal gate, slip through the rails, and run out onto the forest-surrounded street. *** Evelyn Rhodes was kidnapped at the age of seven by her uncle after seeing her brothers kill a woman.
