Click. Clack. Click. Clack

The sound of her heels were loud as she ran down the empty narrow school hallway. Her long wavy brown hair sticking to her face and neck as the tears ran down her face while she cried hysterically.

This can't be true. I can't believe he did this. How could he be so stupid? How could I be so stupid? She thought as she ran down the steps to the entrance of the school in search of her car. Her hand slipped as she tried to open the car door. She pulled and pulled until she realized she left her purse with her best friend(blank). But she wasn't ready to face anyone much less tell anyone what happened. After a brief moment of debating with herself she quickly shut down the idea of heading back inside and face her fears she began to walk home.

"Hey!"

She didn't hear the voice or the body attached to it running towards her. She was trapped in her own world. Suddenly she was yanked out of it once she felt a hand on her shoulder forcing her to a sudden stop forcing her to turn facing the voice

"I was calling you all this time. Are you deaf? Did you not hear me calling your name for like the past 5 minutes? Are you okay? What's wrong? Come on talk to me. Your freaking me out here." he said with a extremely worried expression. One she never thought he was capable of showing to anyone much less her.

"Ethan."
