When Aoi and Umeji we're both freshman at Akademi, they never really crossed paths. Aoi always had hall patrol, and Umeji was always getting picked on. They crossed paths once, where Aoi scared off Musume, who was harassing him, and tried to Talk to him; but not before he ran off. A few weeks later, word had gotten out about a suicide pact between him and a few other boys. How they planned to take themselves out, and (To Her Knowledge), succeeded.
Aoi never stopped blaming herself.
Now, present day, Aoi's built walls between her and almost everyone, fearful that they may spot her failure under the husk of her former self But, as most know, there's more to every story than meets the eye...
And sometimes, the answers you need are right in front of you.
And that's where this story begins.
