Danielle Davis and Charlie Davis have been married for two years, but they have know each other for eight years. They met junior year of high school when Danielle was Charlie's tutor for math. Now Danielle is a second grade teacher at Kimberly Elementary School and Charlie owns his own mechanic shop. Danielle faints one day at work and is sent to the hospital. They find out that she has a brain tumor. She undergoes surgery. Charlie waits in her room and a nurse comes in a sees that he is upset and she asks him to tell her the story on how Charlie and Danielle met and that is where this story begins.
