Playing with fire (ON HOLD!)

Dana Winters has a good job, great friends, and an amazing adopted family. Developing feelings for her new gorgeous boss Kane Hunter, Dana couldn’t be happier. That is, until she gets threatened and told to stay away from him. At first she thinks nothing of it, assuming that it’s nothing more than the ramblings of a crazed ex-girlfriend. But when someone close to her gets hurt, she realizes that this isn’t a game. She, along with her best friend Danielle, must find out the truth before any more people get hurt.

Kane Hunter, the new boss of Maximum Enterprise, is up for a challenge. Though he enjoys working Dana, he starts to have feelings for her; however, due to his mother leaving him when he was young, he doesn't think he can handle another possible heartbreak. Wanting to know why she left him, he hires a private investigator to look for his mother, but someone doesn't want him to find out the truth. Questions that came to mind when he was a kid return. Did his mother really have a choice when she left him?
Guns start blazing, and it looks like he has stumbled on something big. Can he find his mother? Or will he be killed?

It’s a race against time for Dana and Kane. Will their feelings for each other jeopardize their lives?
