Book 2 of the Hunter series

My name is Audra and I live with Mr. Henry Palmer and his son Grayson, who I guess technically adopted me. I didn't have the greatest life growing up, my parents abandoned me and I was tossed around from foster home to foster home. It's been two years since the Palmer's found me and all of a sudden strange things start happening to me. Random people come up to me and claim that I remind them of a girl with auburn brown hair and blue eyes. 

I have never seen any of these people before while Grayson and Henry are very worried about my safety around these new people. Is there a possibility that I could have something to do with this missing girl or is everyone else mistaking me for someone else?

"You really aren't her, are you?" he questioned while eyeing me up and down. He didn't have a happy expression on his face.

"That girl you keep talking about? Not really," I replied, somewhat understanding why that girl would have ran away from this maniac. This guy is a stalker and a complete lunatic, I don't blame her for running away when she did, it was probably to get away from this guy. 

"You better make that clear when other people start mistaking you for her also" he commented while walking closer to the lake. I wasn't sure what his motives were, but at the same time I wasn't trusting him or going anywhere near him. 

"Other people?" I questioned, not sure why that sounded like such a bad thing coming out of my mouth. 

"I am not the only one looking for Hazel," he commented while turning to look at me and send me a smirk. I wasn't sure how that affected me because I wasn't this Hazel girl, but this crazy guy seemed to think that I was Hazel.Tutti i diritti riservati

This is my first "book" so please give feedback so I could improve. This book has werewolves in it and will be using the same sort of background as the show, "Teen Wolf." The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway. She's too innocent. *Mature content* {Just a quick update, I am basically rewriting the story. I wrote it when I was in 8th grade and it makes me cringe every time I try to go back and edit it so keep in mind that it'll get better}

In the end I will face the most tragic change in my life and I knew if I didn't have Sebastian...I would rather die. How twisted faith is I may as well be his lover. That would be a cruel joke because I only see him as a brother. I ran, and I ran, and I ran, trying to get as far away from the mansion as possible. I was too weak to shift, but my determination kept me running. The house disappeared from my line of vision, and I was soon surrounded by greens. I didn't know where I was going, and at this moment, I didn't care. I was officially a fugitive. I'm Anastasia and I'm being bullied by the Vanoss crew. When I was a baby, my parents put me in a adoption center and I never saw them again. I was abnormal as well because I was a shape shifter. But then the adoption center burn down so I had to survive by myself. Years later, I was found by a boy named Anthony.(Chilled Chaos). He was a year older and he became my protector and my best friend. He's a orphan as well but he ok taking care of himself. He knew I was a shape shifter as well. We both lived in a big abandoned house but we managed to fix, clean, and decorate the place. He would steal a lot of money so we could get new clothes and to be in a school and he would do missions for his boss with guns. I wanted to be part of it but I have to wait until I'm his age. Once we got older, We went to high school but he wouldn't really go to school. I get bullied by the most popular group in the school. The Vanoss crew. They really didn't like me and I didn't really like them. So they would pick on me. I was always the loner type of person in school when Anthony isn't in school. But one of the Vanoss crew had a change in him. This other girl who tries to get me to be friends with her. I met some people as well. You'll see who they are if you read the story.

I can tell who its just by looking at their uniform. We all get given a unique uniform that is made for us. I carry on folding the washing whilst waiting for his reply. "We need you to come in." He replies nochantly. I smile and turn around flicking off his hood. "And what do I need to come in for? Brother." I ask, emphasising on brother. His face remains emotionless but his eyes betray him. They are filled with sadness, anger and betrayal. "You know why otherwise you wouldn't have let us find you." He replies. My smile widens. "You know me so well. I had my suspicions but I want to here it directly." I tell him. He growls at me, "They're back. Okay. They are all back." -------------------------------------- Do you ever wish that life was simple? That you could live it normally? I do. I was. But I'll never live it normally.

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. Then again who would leave him alone he is S-E-X-Y!" I laughed. "I am going to love being your friend." I said while I looked back to where he had headed a while ago, but I no longer saw him. I sighed disappointed.

"..or touch you." He says as he takes his hand and brushes it lightly down my arm and he snakes it back around my back pulling me even closer if that is possible.
