Four thousand A.D. and you would think the worst would be behind us. Instead the remaining of the humans find that the worst is just above their heads. With only a few hundred underground human sects left the human population is dying out, and fast. Genetrix, a young girl from the STP sect, finds herself wondering if there is anything more they can do to prevent extinction. But is there? Being taught since she was nine that the immortal Hostes (The leading cause of human deaths including that of her family) were only to be dealt with by silent processions and peace treaties, there's nothing she can do. Right? Wrong. After the beloved leader of the Incursi is killed, a strange newcomer arrives with intriguing news from the Creperum (the Capital of Orcus) and there is nowhere to turn to for peace. Genetrix watches as her once peaceful world crashes within three days and revenge stands generously at her side. But there is something they never told her about the Hostes. There's a reason why they're killing the humans. Prepare for war. Do not be afraid.
