In the land of Aellothaer, the Wild rules. An entity called the Lord of the Wild dominates these parts, letting the natural world grow untamed. Great forests loom and beasts have grown strong. Under the Lord of the Wild's rule, man has become a slave to the wilderness. Only fractions of the kingdom of man remain, firmly under the heel of the Wild. They serve the natural order now, worshipping the Lord of the Wild as a god, subject to the whims and wrath of nature itself. Here, man is at once slave and prey.

But there are a few who resist this dark aspect of nature. This wilderness gone rampant. A woman named Mallory wanders the lands, moving from town to town, hunted by the Lord of the Wild's forces. She is trying to survive, uncaring of the suffering of others around her. But slowly, she becomes thrust into a quest that she cannot ignore. Together, she and a few companions will stand against the Wild, reminding it of human strength even if they are fighting a hopeless conflict.

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

❅| "Even a vastness can no longer shelter you... or engulf your dream." ⊱⋅ ──────────── ⋅⊰ [UNDER EDITING/REDRAFTING - latest chapter: 8] To a world seemingly shrouded in a cloak of safety and eternal peace, death is an unimaginable concept. Yet for those whose rule of life was mere survival, perhaps that's a different situation. For those who stood in the face of adversity, for those who refused to give in to the castigation of their lives, life has no sweetness to it. Merely the bitter tang of a blood-chilling revenge. To avenge a loved one or perhaps even their own pain, the murderous intent behind their deceitful eyes is unmistakable. For to them, lamenting about the past is a life lost to the cruel hands of fate. What happens when a woman as brilliant as the morning sun provides a haven in one's dreams? What happens when she, despite the agonies life carried, says to abandon everything right here and now and leave? Alcestis did not need to be told twice. Seizing the chance to escape the horrible clutches of her grandparents, she sets out on a journey to find the Elementals - a band of heroes protecting the human realm from those that lied beyond, headed by her parents. She knew of the darkness that festered within her; she knew of the hatred that danced in her heart. More than anything, she knew the extents of how fragmented her soul was. What, perhaps, would unfold when she sets out on her journey, leaving behind the world she knew; leaving behind what hopefulness remained in her battered heart? None would heed her an answer, indeed. None save for the rage that tainted her being.

Mermaids ruled the deep oceans, elves thrived in enchanted forests, orcs built their strength in rugged caves, and dragons soared over the sky's peaks, divided between ice and fire. Goblins living in the swamps of the marshlands. Shapeshifters wandered in shadows, and the sky people dwelled in sky realms, distant from earthly matters. For centuries, these territories remained separate, each guarding its own secrets. But this balance shattered when war erupted, spreading darkness and destruction across the land. Homes were destroyed, families lost, and the world itself bore deep scars. Only after devastation did the realms realize that their isolation had been their downfall. From the ashes, a fragile peace emerged, with old enemies becoming allies. In the aftermath, a new generation arose-9 teenagers born amidst hope for unity. Tasked with an unprecedented mission, they must traverse an ancient labyrinth that holds the keys to their world's history and potential salvation. Brought together by fate, young members of various races-mermaids, orcs, dragons, elves, and others-struggle to bridge the gaps between their differing ways of life.
