Alex is not your typical everyday person- in fact, she's not even a person at all. Alex is many people, many different lives combined into one another. She's never lived two days as the same person in her entire life, not even consecutively. Every day, she wakes up in a new body, with a new life she has to adjust to before the sun sets. It's a normal routine for her, and she's stopped trying to find a way out of the cycle years ago.
Then, by chance, she meets Kira after spending the night drunk in a back alleyway. In her drunken stupor, Alex ends up telling Kira everything.. even the truth about her identity. But before Alex can get Kira to trust her, she wakes up in a new body once again. Now, Alex must learn to harness her ability to transfer bodies to find her way to Kira, and finally, find a solution to the curse that's seemingly become her life.
