In 1968, Michael Hearth is known to be an overly ambitious introvert who is too scared to tie his own shoes without double knotting them. So when he finds out that his sister, Danielle, mysteriously goes missing, he tries to figure out what exactly happened to her without the story getting out.
In 1963, Danielle Hearth is trying to figure out how to manage her life. Her world suddenly is turned upside down as she tries to sort out her personal problems, and keep up with her new friend, Basil. Even despite it ruining her friendships with other people.

Daniel Johnson used to have a pretty good life for a sixteen year old.
