After years of torture Naruto finally decides to kill himself. However, Kurama, the very reason the village hates him, tells him of a way he can get revenge. Along with Sasuke, he abandons a mission and looks for the place Kurama described. The people he leads them to call themselves the Naintērukitsune. They are devoted to helping Naruto get his revenge. Naruto is their leader.
