Bruce Wayne was dead, and the Batman along with him.
Over a year has passed since the events of the Halloween that nearly brought the city of Gotham to its knees.
The night that Batman died.
Then, following the heroic efforts of Robin, Nightwing and the mysterious Red Hood, Gotham had slowly begun to heal.
With the advent of a new job, a new home and seeking relief for her anxiety and depression, (Y/N) attends a local group meeting, hoping to make some friends and find a comrade in arms.
There she meets Jason, who perhaps may be the person she was looking for. But with more scars than two people can bear, will they be shattered by the fractured remains of Gotham, or survive it's gravity together?

(Note: As someone who suffers from mental illness, and has attended group meetings for addiction, I will try to write this story with as much sensitivity and true to life detail as I can. I really wanted to write a story involving comfort and support with one of my fave characters, but I must stress that if you will find any of these topics triggering, then please don't read. Stay safe lovelies! Also, if any of you ever need to talk to someone, my inbox is always open 💕)
Sequel to 'Protecting the Batbrothers'
A new foe arises and he's out for blood.
A new organization caught the Batfam's attention, to be more specific, a project they discovered: Project W.I.N.G.
Kids have gone missing all over town and were later found dead on the streets, their backs a bloody mess.
When the Batkids intervene, kidnapping, blackmail and mental break downs ensue.
A new mystery to solve, one that is not just going to change the world, but also the hearts of our young heroes when they discover things about each other none of them were supposed to find out, things the individuals had been trying to forget, locked away in the darkest corners of their minds. Everybody has secrets, some just more deadly than others.

Dick tries to go back to normal after the past events, but with the constant guilt nagging at him, it's hard to let go. Jason and Bruce are still the only ones who know what really happened that day, even two years later.
As far as anyone can tell, Jason's back to normal, trying to kill Damian, shooting at everything in sight and just being an a***ole, but did he really recover? Did he even recover the first time Joker assaulted him, or is it impossible to recover from death?
