Percy Jackson seems like a typical intimidating punk guy who's always picking fights or supposedly getting in trouble with the law. Of course, no one really knows what Percy is really like because everyone judges him based on a reputation made of rumors and his intimidating appearance. No one bothers to know that deep down Percy is actually a caring and sweet guy, the exception being his two best friends, Annabeth and Grover. However, even they don't know to an extent of what Percy is going through, they don't know of the constant hardships he's facing at home or even what he's facing in his own mind. That changes when a certain Nico Di Angelo moves to New York from Venice, Italy and meets Percy Jackson himself. Nico's determined to know who's really hidden behind the appearance of the so called juvenile Percy Jackson who is supposed no good.

Percy Jackson and Nico di Angelo get into a relationship. They go through multiple situations, some of them good, bad, or even a little bit of both. Percy and Nico just want to have as normal of a life as they possible have, but everyone knows that is hard to almost impossible. There is even a couple of times that they aren't in their own universe but they are in an alternate universe (AU). No matter what, they always seem to find a way to stay together and get through it all.
