The year is 7129, Artemis Waverly is a 15 year old average girl who loves to tinker with technology. She lives and works with her grandfather at his hovercraft repair shop, and is going to Leviathan High School. At the end of her first year semester her grandfather gets a call from a man claiming to be her father. Her grandfather sends her to Kamolot Academy, one of the best highschools in all of England, and where her fauther works.

But everything doesn't go as plan when Artemis is constantly bulled, not only for being second last on the placement test but also for being the headmaster's basterd child. Constantly ridiculed by, not only students and teacher's, but also by her new stepmother and siblings as well. Artemis is just trying to get through freshman year.

Now you add an ancient prophecy, deadly assassins, past life memories, new and dangerous powers, technology beyond your comprehension, and a sword that has the ability to make you king of the world!

Yeah... but Artemis can keep fighting and push through it.

But when you add a curtain green eyed girl into the mix who keeps claiming that their supposedly maired... well Artemis has to draw the line.
