After the turmoil caused by the Angelic rebellion, the Earth is formed and the rebellious angels are cast into its hold. Caretakers are created to keep the world living, and through that, to keep the fallen angels encased. Yet, a ploy by Satan serves to give these caretakers known as man a knowledge that allows their freedom. Archangels begin to stir, and demons are being evolved from their growing power. Mankind begins to seek its own desires, and unchecked Fallen break from their bonds. One however, is left untouched by the LORD and Satan, Gaberel. When he escapes his bonds however, a fated meeting offers to him two options. He takes neither, and his story evolves into one of love. Will he be able to protect his beloved as evil stirs, and war is imminent?

Although demons can't love, what he feels for Ariel seems a lot like love. In this angel/demon romance, God is a woman and all the characters in Heaven and Hell love whoever they want. I summoned him on accident, but since he's here... --- I turned to run but it was too late. He grabbed a hold of my arm and pulled me back towards him. "I hope you like water," he snickered as he effortlessly lifted me off my feet. Alarm bells were starting to ring in my head. "Put. Me. Down!" I screamed and shouted, struggling in his grip all while Lucifer wadded deeper into the water. "As you wish." Without warning, he dropped me. It was freezing and I couldn't breath. I struggled to push myself up as another wave washed over my head I was gasping for air as Lucifer laughed devilishly down at me. "Are you done?" I grumbled and splashed some water up at him. His laughter finally died down and I reached up for his hand, really hoping he'd take it. "At least help me up." I sputter, still trying to wipe the water out of my face. He does.
