He was promptly moved to a cell beneath our castle where we proceeded to question him and give him chores to do. It seems your story, his, and our own knowledge of our brother don't line up. Allow me to explain.

You claim Hans attempted to murder you and your sister, Princess Anna, but we know our brother is not a violent one. He has not been invited on hunting excursions since he was a child due to the fact that he will not kill for sport, only for defense or food when needed. Therefore he could not have attempted murder for the throne.

Furthermore, he never wanted the throne of our own kingdom, so why should he seek yours? He was sent from home by our father since he had "not a royal bone in his body."

He claims to have been tricked by a sorcerer, thus we sent Hans to you via our second fastest ship in hopes he will help you bring this criminal justice. Should Hans return without news of the criminal's capture, we will be forced to take matters into our own hands.
