Richard Steel was a misunderstood man who spent his life catching murderers, falling over, and avoiding all kinds of women to the best of his ability. He was awkward, clumsy and uptight – hard to get along with, apparently. He simply didn’t understand people, and people didn’t understand him.

Clare Brent was Richard's complete opposite - a confident, cheerful, and extremely giggly woman creature. She was up for taking risks, breaking rules and just being a little bit naughty.

Usually, this kind of woman would be Richard’s worst nightmare – but Clare was different. She seemed to understand Richard and his rather strange ways, and didn’t bully him about it like everyone else.

Richard finds himself spending all of his time with this strange woman creature, slowly learning how to be normal, whilst doing things he’d never do before.

He smiles, cuddles… and investigates a murder case behind his boss’ back. Oops.

Together, they stumble into all kinds of mischief.

FOOTSTEPS TO MURDER

15 parts Complete Mature

Thriller / Mystery The wealthy business man, Sir Richard Third, is shot dead in the study of his island mansion. There are eight suspects; but few clues to point to the murderer. When the powerful plutocrat, Sir Richard Third, was murdered in the study of his island mansion, there was no shortage of suspects. All eight people who were also on the island that day had strong motives for ending his life. Because of incriminating footprints that lead from a cove, to the terrace of the house, and back again, the police assume that some interloper had landed on the island, sneaked up to the mansion, shot Third dead, and in the ensuing melee, made his escape. Unable to track down this elusive killer, the investigation is called off. A year after his death Third's wife hires the services of a brilliant private detective, to reopen the case. Using evidence the police had overlooked he solves the mystery; only to discover that the case has one particular surprise in store for him.
