Cory and Thomas are in trouble again. An incredible cache of gold artifacts is hidden in the red rock cliffs of Southern Utah. Salah and his family, the people not quite from Earth, protect it. A greedy paramilitary group wants it, and they will do anything to get it.
     The boys dealt with these men before, out on the Nevada desert. But now their intent is pure malice. The boys are taken captive again trying to protect Tobias and Amium, Salah's sons. They escape into the granddaddy of all storms, drowning rain, deadly lightening, and a devastating flash flood. And they find help from an unexpected ally. Their safety, however, is short-lived.
     Too soon they stand face to face with the most vicious men they've ever met. Sheriff Brady and his cadre of deputies aren't enough to protect them. Even Salah, with his space ship, cannot help. Tommy screamed in pain and in fear as the strange, tall, split colored thing held him down by his right arm and legs. "No! Let me go!" He yelled, tears of pain streaming down his face. "I'm- Im gonna- I'm gonna snap your arm into place!" The short, goat-looking one in front of him said in a panicked voice. "Do not fuckin' touch me!" Tommy screamed. "One..." "Do not touch me!" "Two..." "No!" "Three!" "Don't fuckin' touch me!" 𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙠 or, In which Tommy finds himself caught in the rivers current, sending him towards a large waterfall that should have but didn't kill him. All of a sudden I saw another shadow flit across the street. I caught my breath but decided it was nothing, because I knew people would be out at 8 pm. I mean, it's not that late. Skylar grabbed my arm abruptly. "What was that?" My heart started pounding. "What?" Oreo started barking furiously. I looked around the street wildly. I couldn't see anything. Or anyone. "Aubrey," Skylar said. I glanced at her, silently communicating with her, and then we raced down the street. I heard footsteps behind us and ran even faster. We must be getting pretty close to the apartment complex by now. Suddenly someone grabbed my arm and yanked me back. I managed to scream before they covered my mouth with their hand. "Aubrey?" I heard Skylar cry in alarm. "Aubrey?!" I tried to get away from the person but he held me tighter, dragging me back down the street and towards an ominous-looking black car. I was being kidnapped. P. S. This book has no language in it because I try to keep my stories appropriate for everyone :)
