The world felt heavy on Trixie's shoulders. She was like a kid who couldn't let it go, desperately twisting and turning the colors in rows in search of a solution. It had been years since she had last seen the girl who haunted her memories. Their golden days had gone away, only remaining on the pages of Trixie's old diary, along with the hope that they'd eventually end up together. She'd always thought they could've had it all, even if it was a childish idea, but life isn't a fairytale. Circumstance comes in the way, and life pulls you in a different direction, and all you can do is hope that it will eventually lead you back home.

Katya promises to provide everything Trixie desires. But clothes and jewelry are not enough for her anymore.

When Katya's family moves from Russia to the US, her mom has the "brilliant" idea to send her to summer camp to help her learn the language. Katya is less than happy about it, but one girl would quickly make her far more excited about the experience; Trixie Mattel
