**Rated #4 in mid on March 2nd** Why did you ditch us to go sit with your new best friend and your new crush?"Beth asked. Well what I should have said was" Is that really any of your business?" But I tried to explain myself. " Well...the lunch aid..asked me to, I'm sorry. " Again she asked" Why did you ditch us to go sit with your new best friend and your new crush?" If you see yourself in any of these words, I completely understand how you feel. Hi, I'm April Washington. Not only am I writing about friend issues, we have the usual boy issues. My long-term crush, Marvin used to be the only guy I liked. Until Asher came around. I am here to write about a practical first year of middle school.

The girl from New York

49 parts Complete

Completed✔️ Disclaimer: I wrote this when I was 15 so it is a bit cliché, and many mistakes in the story:) All Brooklyn's life, she's been more of a boy than a girl. She's only ever lived with her single dad and her three older brothers, which means she was bound to grow up more like them. So, when she moved all the way from New York to Tennessee, it wasn't much of a surprise until she met Alex, the one of many popular boys at the high school. Until she realized that Alex decided to make her life a living hell. Well, that's what Brooklyn thought, at least... ___ "He leaned in and put a hand behind my head to kiss me, leaving me frozen and speechless. Almost instinctively, after a moment of processing, I stood on my tippy toes and replaced my fingers in his hair, my other hand on his neck. Butterflies exploded in my stomach, replacing my hunger for food, as he pressed me against a vacant wall. Without a word, he lifted me up while my legs wrapped around his waist, leaning in closer to him, even after there was no more space to fill."
