What could be the cost of hiding it from everyone? Every secret has a price, once you spill it, people get hurt and you lose things little by little...
Boruto and Sarada have been secretly married for a quite a while, they kept it from everybody so that the Top anbu's and Hokage's lives wouldn't be in danger.
It sounded selfish but it was to protect each other.
But they kept on going cause love is love right? You'd give it your all to fight for it, after all there is no one else that can fight for it other than you.
When it comes to the matters of relationships and the 'married life' everyone thinks that the Hokage and the Top Anbu are loveless but guess what? They aren't what they seem like, but when the curtains are closed and the room's dark, things happen and if you're lucky and get the chance to see it you'd think that the Hokage and the Top Anbu are probably couple goals but....only if you knew.
