Victim of Rejection

“I Damian Rover reject you Vanessa Ray as my mate” he said smugly.

I could hear his friends LAUGHING at me probably by the look of pain on my face or maybe at the humiliation of being rejected whereas I was just standing there with teary eyes and a hand on my chest to suppress the pain of rejection of both mine and my wolf’s.

I don’t know nor did i care for what they were laughing at, for at the moment I all cared was that my one and only mate rejected me.

His reason was that he wanted me to feel the pain that I had once caused him which I don’t ever remember doing anything to him. So why was I being punished.

I wanted to ask him, but the only sound came was the moans of pain. This pain was unbearable and was till the point where death would not be as painful when I saw my mate sinking his elongated teeth into my best friend’s neck, thus marking her as his.

I felt my heart tearing piece by piece till it was shattered to the point that it could never be fixed. i felt numb inside.

I felt DEAD.

Vanessa Ray was one of the sweetest and the kindest girl but one rejection broke her, she was rejected because she had unintentionally hurt Damian which she didn’t even remember ever doing it. So she was punished for it.
