Here he was, lying back first in a muddy alley, the blood from the wound in his shoulder was being carried to a drain by the rain. He looked at the face of his father's -now broken- watch. His friend Celeste's hand just inches from his own. Time of death, 11:46pm.

And there she was, laying in a grimy alleyway with raindrops splashing onto her paling face, no one was there to comfort her. The pain had become excruciating, but her body was no longer reacting. Her curly, voluminous hair was now matted to her face with blood, the wound from her neck to blame. She looked up towards the heavens, her feeble attempts at reaching for Asher forgotten, and she prayed that she'd see her mother for the first time.
