Kapten Garuda Muda merupakan kisah seorang anak muda bernama Abbas yang berkeinginan kembali mewujudkan mimpinya untuk bisa membawa Indonesia tampil di ajang besar Piala Dunia setelah mengalami keputus asaan untuk mewujudkan mimpi karena masa kelamnya semasa SMP. Ambisi itu kembali muncul setelah Abbas menyaksikan pertandingan hebat di laga pembuka Piala Dunia 2014 yang dihelat di Brazil. Perjalanan Abbas akan menjadi lebih menantang ketika ia harus berjuang bersama tim sepakbola Sekolah Menengah Atas untuk meraih gelar Nasional.
