Riley Winters and her best friend Jordan have big plans to leave their small town for a big city after high school. But when a magical barrier appears around Frederick's Hollow, trapping its residents inside, it seems like no one's going anywhere anytime soon. 

Tensions start to rise between the normal humans and the witches who've always coexisted with them, and who continue to be secretive about what caused the barrier to appear in the first place.
