Richard "Trashmouth" Tozier has lived in Derry, Maine, his whole life. With his family, Maggie and Wentsworth Tozier, and his cousin, Rosemary Tozier, he lives a nice life in a nice town with some nice people and some not-so-nice people.

And then, at the tender age of fifteen, he meets Bill Denbrough, a boy with a stutter, Mike Hanlon, a black boy, Ben Hanscom, a fat boy, Stan Uris, a Jew, Beverly Marsh, a poor girl, and Eddie Kasperak, who takes too many pills and struggles to breathe.

And they call themselves The Losers' Club, and Rosemary is most definitely NOT allowed in.
