Werewolves aren't just a myth anymore. Goddess of the Moon, Artemis, got tired of the lycans and decided to create children of her own. Unfortunately, she only created two to start; one male and one female. She made them mates and the beginning of their species. Even more unfortunately, they can't have children yet. The only ways to make the species grow is to spread their "disease" through biting or scratching other humans and demigods. Then, they become werewolves. But, as is true with werewolves, they all have mates. These people can repopulate the species. But now there is a terror of these beasts that run around howling at the moon. A pair of twins, a son and daughter of Demeter have the bad luck of being bitten by one of the original wolves. Now, they have to learn to adapt to being demigods and werewolves, coping with the extras that have been given to them in all this.
