I always dreamed of being one of the Awakened, one of the heroes that fights back the Insanity on his own terms. They're always pictured driving the newest cars, wearing the latest clothes, using the best gene-mods and implants. They're supposed to be more than just human.
At least, that's what I thought until I Awakened. Now my life is a mess of corporate intrigue, shifty politics, cyberzombies and at least one group of revolutionaries whose ideas are sounding better every day.
I never wanted to be the punk that brought the system down, but the temptation to just glitch out is growing by the minute.
Glitch is a Cyberpunk LitRPG set in a near future where some people are given abilities that allow them to do things that no normal human could ever do. This fiction is written, maintained and owned by Edgar Malboeuf.

Copper-9, an exoplanet with minerals to mine and a cheap, easy-to-make work force to mine them: Worker Drones. With Worker Drones comes Disassembly Drones, their "natural" predators. Sent from beyond to slaughter all of the cowardly workers who hide in bunkers for fear of death. Except Mallory. The bastard only stays inside to sleep all day in a nice warm bed and gives lip to anyone that wakes him up. So when a surprisingly short Murder Drone waltzes right into the bunker, panic ensues, and panic makes noise, and noise tends to wake people up. == Story of a sleepy eepy guy who wishes to his sleep paralysis demon that people would leave him the [BEEP] alone. But where's a good story where everything goes the way someone wants? Got the idea from some art randomly and thought, " Ay, that's pretty good."

The Black Tapes: Or, How the Bouncer Bounced Back
All is provided, yet everything is lacking. The Metro is the plenum, a future-city of color and exuberance, but its citizens are full of violence and greed. If there is any hope for peace it lies with the Iris, a machine that can link the minds of every human-being to create a single mind, a single energy. Someone just has to push the button. Sean, born into this world of hate, sets out to do the impossible: to take the data he has stolen off the internet and turn on the Iris. His journey will set off one of the greatest rat-chases the Metro has ever seen. All the big players are in on it, to stop or help Sean's mad rush to the Iris. There's Casey with her army of gangsters, who wants nothing else but to make sure the Metro stays a jungle. There's Randal the mutant, a creature of nightmare surrounded by other misbegotten souls, cursed with an inexplicable fate. And then there's Tommy the Bouncer, Tommy the Butcher, Tommy the Terrible, who just wants to beat everything to a bloody pulp. These players and more all have their eyes on the prize: the Black Tape, the switch that if flicked may set off an age of no-death. Maybe. Rise Of The Prototype (Murder Drones x Prototype)
Y/N Mercer, Codename Heracles (Hercules), the (adopted) son of the Infamous Killer/Monster/Terrorist Alex Mercer, Codename Zeus. Wakes up on a different planet called; Copper-9 after being in cryosleep for hundreds of years, Y/N also finds out that the planet is inhabited by sentient robots called Worker Drones and Murder Drones. Takes place after the events of Prototype 1 but the events of Prototype 2 never happened and James Heller never got infected with the blacklight virus nor does he exist and mentioned in the story. I don't own Murder Drones or Prototype, they are owned by their respective Creators, Liam Vickers (Glitch Productions) Creator of Murder Drones, and Radical Entertainment Creator of Prototype.
