Read some wiki, about the animal.
Adapted the pertinents into an observation moment.
So it will be short story.
Could have been non-fiction, or poetry.
But it doesn't exactly follow the poetic protocols.
I guess it would be classed first as nature.
Then poetic, then informational.
Then short story from a point of observational conveyance.

He was so close, his breath hit my lips. His eyes darted from my eyes to my lips. I stared intently, awaiting his next move. His lips fell near my ear.
