The british-irish boy band, One Direction is in search for a new member. When eighteen years old Jocelyn Davis a hopeful musician finds out she immediately jumps onto the rare opportunity. But there's one problem only guys can audition and Jocelyn isn't a guy. So what does she do? She disguises herself as one of the boys and attends the audition anyway. There she competes long and hard through three stages that puts her determination to the test. Will Jocelyn join One Direction or will she give up? Also will anyone find out her secret?

Among their fans is Louis Tomlinson, a shy and introverted boy who faces bullying and abuse at school and at home. One day, Louis discovers a flyer announcing auditions for a new singer/pianist for One Direction. Despite his talent, he doubts he can audition due to his shyness and fear of his abusive stepfather's reaction. On the day of auditions, he attends not to try out but to see Harry. After a brief encounter in the school bathroom, where Harry hears Louis singing, he is captivated by Louis's voice and wants him to join the band. However, the story takes a dark turn when Liam and Niall find Louis unconscious and bloodied in a same bathroom, having been attacked by bullies. Harry Styles is in a band called One Direction he loves the band but there's one thing that he isn't telling his bandmates that could possibly break the band, Harry is in love with his bandmate Louis Tomlinson. He wants to tell him and the rest of the band but he can't he just can't, if he did he would ruin his friendship with him best friend and he couldn't live with himself if that happened. Harry thinks that if Louis found out he likes him that it wouldn't end well, Louis and Harry live together so it would just be awkward and on top of that Louis is dating Eleanor so he's straight, or so Harry thinks. Coincidentally Louis also has a huge secret he might be dating Eleanor but the truth about their relationship is that it's not real Simon made them sign a contract to be together because Simon overheard Louis telling his mom that he has feelings for Harry and had to put a stop to anything that could possibly happen between the two boys.
