Samantha Well is an insomniac. She didn't choose to be like that (obviously), but she is. She has a "special" bridge which she visits every night, but not for good reasons. You see, Sammy hasn't had the best life. Things happen and she believes she's the one to be blame. She doesn't think her crappy life is worth living anymore, so she tried to end it multiple times. However, much to her displeasure, someone is always there to stop her.
James Casdoe is a vampire. A stereotypical pale vampire who can't step out in the sunlight without burning. He didn't want to be a killer, so he began helping people, without them knowing. At night he would appear out of nowhere and save lives, as foolish as it sounds.
One day (or rather, night), James was out at a bridge he'd immediately liked when he first saw it. That was when he first saw Sam. He knew right away she could use some help, or just maybe a friend. After saving her multiple times, something happens that changes things for the better...or worse?
